The ZNA Malaysia Koi Show & Championship 2006 was held in the Selangor Chinese Assembly Hall located at Jalan Maharajalela, Kuala Lumpur. This Koi Show 2006 saw active participation by members and koi dealers.

Datuk Kamaruddin participate with a 85BU Kohaku from Sakai Koi Farm, parent Benibana and won the Grand Championship 2006. This was the 1st time he participated in the show and won the Grand Championship 2006 beating strong competitions from other koi dealers and members.

The 85BU Kohaku was sourced from Japan by Sentul Park Koi Centre on instruction from Datuk Kamaruddin, specially for this show.
